In addition, she also has a specialization with eating disorders and has gained clinical experience in the field. She believes strongly in the importance of prioritizing mental and emotional health because when we are in a better place we are better able to model that for our families and loved ones. When we have found greater peace within, self-love & care, and balance within our lives we emulate that for ourselves and all of those around us. Our children are the future and we need to make sure their emotional health is acknowledged as well. Lets throw out the stigma around mental health and accept and embrace our emotional and mental health. I believe this is an important step in healing our community. Lets be proactive and not reactive in creating the changes we would like to see.
